About The Position

The Lamination Technician will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines in the lamination department in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves visual inspection of parts, detecting defects, and making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficient operation of equipment. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work area and adhering to all company quality and safety guidelines.

Operate fork lift
Ability to wear the required PPE for the position

Responsibilities

Set up and/or operate various machines
Perform visual inspection of parts and detect defects
Make necessary changes if part is out of tolerance
Read a tape measure, Vernier calipers and backiron and spacing gages
Service notching machines while producing laminations
Transfer and load blanks and finished laminations as required
Perform minor adjustments to maintain efficient operation of the equipment and part quality
Comply with company quality and safety guidelines
Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Perform other duties as assigned
Ensure equipment is setup and/or operated in accordance to published and/or posted safety documents
