About The Position

We are currently looking for a Lamination Press Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You’ll be the heart of our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient running of production. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. We have a structured training program where operators can grow into higher machine roles and have some control over their advancement and salary! Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that manufacturing production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits and provide continual growth to our associates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and read and carry out instructions with little supervision.
• Must possess strong math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
• Must be a team player with the ability to maintain a cooperative and respectful attitude.
• Above average verbal communications skills.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience in laminating, coating, or web-feeding preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead operator and other operators in performing daily tasks including material set-up for production orders, inspecting material being produced, assisting with changeovers, and informing operators of defective material.
• Work with lead operator and other operators to coordinate schedules maximizing productivity, uptime, quality, and completion of schedules.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for all manufacturing employees. Follow all department and company safety and housekeeping standards.
• Assist operation team in minimizing material waste.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining appropriate production records. Keep accurate records of laminator activities, as required.
• Maintain positive working relationships and daily contact with other team members.
• Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks throughout the shift and during any downtime.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned.
