We're committed to quality, precision, and the success of every individual who helps drive our mission forward. We are seeking an experienced Lamination Operator to join our Brea facility. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining copper and gold plating lines used in the production of high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in plating processes within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, travelers, customer specifications, and process documentation
  • Basic computer proficiency for tracking and logging production data
  • Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and stand for extended periods
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper chemical handling procedures
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training in plating, chemistry, or manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with copper and/or gold plating in a PCB or metal finishing environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate automated and manual copper and gold plating lines according to traveler instructions
  • Monitor plating parameters including current, temperature, dwell time, and chemistry to ensure product quality
  • Perform chemical additions and maintain bath chemistry documentation
  • Review and follow production travelers, blueprints, customer specifications, and process procedures
  • Conduct in-process inspections and identify plating defects or irregularities
  • Maintain plating logs, chemical records, and maintenance documentation accurately
  • Perform preventive maintenance on plating tanks, filtration systems, and related equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following PPE and chemical handling procedures
  • Communicate production or quality issues to supervisors and engineering teams
  • Support overtime and weekend production schedules as needed
