About The Position

This position is responsible for daily output of finished product including but not limited to stone fabrication of mitered and laminated countertops. The role involves learning and applying Cambria Lamination work concepts, performing finish cuts, working with adhesive bonding glue, conducting quality checks, and interpreting blueprints to operate lamination equipment. Cross-training on multiple equipment types, performing documentation, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to safety protocols are also key aspects of the job.

Requirements

Experience with stone fabrication
Carpentry experience, primarily finish work
Experience in building, repairing cabinetry and cabinet-making
Experience working with cabinetry and trim work, making detailed, angled and mitered cuts
Experience using handheld tools
Experience in blueprint reading
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Ability to speak and read English sufficiently to converse with the general public, read and understand highway signs/signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports/records

Nice To Haves

Education: High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
Experience: Mechanically inclined is preferred
Industrial work experience is preferred
Carpentry skills is preferred
Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace preferred

Responsibilities

Learn and apply the concepts of Cambria Lamination work as outlined in the Lamination SOP’s
Utilize a handsaw or grinder to complete finish cuts on fabricated pieces
Willingness to work with an adhesive bonding glue
Perform quality checks on finished pieces
Utilize overhead crane to move large finished pieces
Inspect the overhead crane on a daily basis
Interpret blueprints and sketches to plan, set up, and operate lamination equipment
Cross-train on multiple types of equipment
Perform all required documentation with detail and accuracy
Keep work area clean and orderly
Conduct all job related duties in a safe and responsible manner
Attend work daily, be punctual, and work the duration of a shift
