As a member of the Lake Terrace Pool team, you will serve food and beverage to guests in dining, around pool, and in Cabanas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with order processing
• Flexibility in schedule as it will change often.
• Ability to complete Broadmoor Alcohol Awareness training
• In compliance with state liquor laws, must be at least 18 years of age.
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times and employee may be exposed to fumes, toxic, or caustic chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Execute service duties in accordance with Forbes AAA inspection standards and Broadmoor Standards of Excellence
• Maintain knowledge of, abide by, and enforce Colorado liquor laws
• Set up and breakdown table and chairs
• Ensure tables are neatly and appropriately set in the Pool Café
• Place orders and serves food/beverages including alcoholic beverages
• Respond to guests' needs and assists fellow staff
• Clean work area at the conclusion of shift
• Maintain knowledge of Broadmoor history and grounds
• Maintain knowledge of Broadmoor restaurants and retail outlets
• Maintain knowledge of local points of interest and activities
• Answers menu questions and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Relays order to kitchen via computer
• Serves all orders according to product/serving specifications.
• Total bills and accepts payment.
• Follow all directions received from Supervisors including daily and weekly sidework
• Ensure areas are always clean, to include towels, trash, furniture, walls, decks.
• Know and understand how to perform duties of Host, and Pool attendants.
• Understand and know emergency procedures.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
