About The Position

$15.16-20 per hour based on $5.42 per hour base wage + service charge commission paid per shift. Service charges are commissions and will fluctuate based on events and time of year. This position always earns at least the current Colorado minimum wage $15.16 per hour. Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a high-quality restaurant environment a plus.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
  • Flexibility in schedule as it will change often.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.

Responsibilities

  • Serve food from kitchen to guests in an efficient manner with a clear understanding of table numbers and seat numbers for all areas of the restaurant.
  • Maintain thorough menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and/or understanding of menu items
  • Communicate with serving staff and kitchen staff to ensure accuracy of orders
  • Communicate directly with chef/expeditor to insure proper timing of service
  • Be knowledgeable in food product, and food preparations.
  • Understand what the kitchen is serving and ensure all food is properly served at the tables
  • Be able to expedite the food coming to the window from the chef/kitchen staff
  • Inspect orders for accuracy prior to serving. Bring any concerns to the attention of the Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef immediately
  • Observe guests and respond to any additional requests
  • Assist with clean-up in the pool areas by carrying dirty dishes to kitchen, wiping table tops and chairs with damp cloth, and replacing soiled table linens and set tables with silverware and glassware in the Pool Café.
  • Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in need areas
  • Serve and refill water and other beverages as required
  • Help pre-bus and attend to guest needs
  • Assist with the set-up and break down of restaurant in accordance with side-work
  • Report tips in accordance with IRS regulations
  • Maintain courteous, professional and polite attitude with all other service and kitchen staff
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
