About The Position

Homewood is seeking a Lake Pursuits Attendant to join the Outdoor Pursuits Department. The Lake Pursuits Attendant is a hospitality-focused operational role supporting daily activations, member experiences, and lakefront readiness across the Homewood Lake Club and Outdoor Pursuits operations. This position plays an important role in creating a seamless and elevated member and guest experience through hands-on support, operational preparation, and daily activation of club spaces, vehicles, vessels, and recreational assets. This role requires a proactive, energetic, and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in presentation, organization, hospitality, and teamwork. The Lake Pursuits Attendant works closely with the Outdoor Pursuits, Member Services, and Club Operations teams to ensure all lakefront operations and member experiences are delivered to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, outdoor recreation, marina operations, or guest services preferred.
  • Comfortable working around boats, watercraft, docks, and outdoor recreation environments.
  • Strong work ethic with a hands-on, team-first mentality.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly active environment.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing preferred.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and peak summer periods.
  • Ability to stay organized and effective while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily activations across the Lake Club, marina, beach, lawn, dock, and Outdoor Pursuits areas.
  • Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of club experiences, programs, and events.
  • Welcome and assist members, guests, and prospects throughout the property.
  • Help create a seamless and elevated member experience through hospitality-focused service and operational readiness.
  • Ensure club spaces are clean, organized, stocked, and prepared for daily member use.
  • Support as needed across Club and Resort services.
  • Assist with preparation, setup, and breakdown of Outdoor Pursuits activities and equipment.
  • Support captains, guides, and Outdoor Pursuits team members in delivering safe, organized, and high-quality experiences.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of Outdoor Pursuits facilities, docks, and gear.
  • Assist with inventory organization, operational supplies, and activity readiness.
  • Assist with staging, movement, and daily readiness of company vehicles, golf carts, boats, and recreational equipment.
  • Ensure vehicles, vessels, and equipment are clean, fueled/charged, organized, and guest-ready.
  • Support basic cleaning, detailing, stocking, and preparation of vessels and operational assets.
  • Identify and communicate service gaps, operational concerns, or maintenance needs.
  • Assist department leads with daily operational needs across the property.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail in all work areas.
  • Support daily opening and closing operational procedures.
  • Assist with special projects, events, and operational initiatives as assigned.
