About The Position

The Supervisors first responsibility is to uphold the Martis Camp standard by ensuring that quality service is delivered in a timely and professional manner. Confirming members needs are met, as well as managing the team. The Family Barn Supervisor will work closely with the Family Barn Manager to obtain the Martis Club vision, mission, goals, and service standards.

Requirements

  • Sufficient knowledge of food menu and food allergies.
  • Sufficient knowledge of bar menu, specialty cocktails, well liquor, wines by the glass and draft beer.
  • General knowledge of available liquors and cordials.
  • Ability to multitask while working efficiently and fast-paced.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be open to occasional overtime in peak periods.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 8-10 hours at a time
  • Must be able to carry up to 30lbs.
  • Must be able to repeatedly reach/bend/kneel/pull/push to assist with product storage, cleaning duties and food and beverage maintenance.
  • Must be California Food Handlers Safe Certified.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring opening and closing duties are completed in a timely manner (checklist/checkout).
  • Checking that service provided is detailed, attentive and efficient.
  • Ensuring food leaving the kitchen is accurate to the order and presentable.
  • Managing staff lunch breaks and timely clock in/out.
  • Quality check with all members.
  • Fulfill server and bartender duties and requirements as needed.
  • Running the door, reservations and floor map.
  • Assist with keeping inventory at the set par.
  • Attention to detail: lights, thoroughness, cleanliness, safety, etc.
  • Provide warm hospitality, professional advice and assistance to all patrons.
  • Be informed on and promote all club activities and services.
  • Keep fiscal responsibility and member satisfaction in mind when making all decisions.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Martis Camp standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary per the needs of the Club.
  • Always comply with Martis Camp standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient Club operations.
  • Perform other duties as required by your manager.
  • Pay homage to the member by expressing the same courtesies to his guest.
  • Approach all encounters with members, guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
  • Regular attendance of TEAM and staff meetings is mandatory.
  • Maintain superior service standards, server personal attire/presentation and positive attitude with all FOH staff.
  • Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor while maintaining professional standards.
  • Address members and guests before they address you.
  • Monitor and maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the entire Club area.
  • Respect all stakeholders’ privacy, perspective, priorities, time and resources.
  • Consumption of alcoholic beverages is not allowed while on Martis Camp property or functions.
  • Martis Camp is a drug free workplace.
  • Support other departments so that they may be successful.
  • Be a TEAM player.
