Requirements

Aquatic Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Able to swim and comfortable around water.
Ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis.
Great communication skills.
Basic math skills to calculate product applications.
Mechanically inclined.

Nice To Haves

Experience in lake and pond management, pest/herbicide control or surveying is preferred.
Experience in fisheries, wildlife management, conservation, ecology, biology, environmental sciences or forestry.
Electrical work experience preferred, but not required.
Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Identify and treat invasive weeds.
Visual inspection of stormwater components.
Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on pond fountains and related equipment.
Mowing/string trimming sites.
Improving the overall aesthetics of the sites.
Minor repairs for compliance.
Implement safety training for field staff.
Handle administrative duties.
