Requirements
- Aquatic Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Able to swim and comfortable around water.
- Ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis.
- Great communication skills.
- Basic math skills to calculate product applications.
- Mechanically inclined.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in lake and pond management, pest/herbicide control or surveying.
- Experience in fisheries, wildlife management, conservation, ecology, biology, environmental sciences or forestry.
- Electrical work experience.
Responsibilities
- Identify and treat invasive weeds.
- Visual inspection of stormwater components.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on pond fountains and related equipment.
- Mowing/string trimming sites.
- Improving the overall aesthetics of the sites.
- Minor repairs for compliance.
- Implement safety training for field staff.
- Handle administrative duties.
