About The Position

Terros Health is seeking a Dually Located Clinician for the LADDER (Life Affirming Dual Diagnosis Education and Recovery) program. This role involves providing outpatient counseling services to individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health symptoms. The clinician will work across two sites, offering individual and group counseling, case management, and support services such as preparing meals, coordinating transportation, and covering breaks. The position emphasizes a holistic approach to care, focusing on recovery and empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives. Requirements

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., MA, MC, MSW).
• Arizona license or eligible for Arizona license.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years of age with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
• Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for one within 7 working days of assuming the role.
• Must pass a TB Test.
• Ability to perform first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary and appropriate.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Experience providing direct care to individuals with mental disorder, personality disorder, substance abuse, or significant psychological/behavioral response to stress.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient counseling services for individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health symptoms.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
• Provide case management services.
• Assist with preparing and serving lunch.
• Coordinate transportation for clients.
• Cover breaks for other staff as needed.
• Perform other duties to ensure smooth program operation and client care.
• Develop therapeutic relationships with clients, in-home or onsite as required.
• Participate in treatment planning with individuals and/or families.
• Utilize appropriate evidence-based practices.
• Determine and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Seek supervision/consultation as appropriate.
• Maintain self-awareness and self-reflection.
• Develop treatment plans with achievable and measurable objectives.
• Provide valued and respectful treatment while adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
• Comply with Terros Health policies and professional code of ethics.
• Maintain session structure and timeliness.
• Project a positive, professional image.
• Meet performance measures related to engagement, successful closures, and referrals to primary care.
• Ensure clients are accessing primary care.
• Review service deliveries to ensure health outcomes.
• Collaborate with the treatment team.
• Coordinate client care.
• Complete administrative responsibilities and documentation on the same day.
• Ensure progress notes reflect evidence-based treatment.
• Complete intake paperwork and submit on the day of service.
• Travel between multiple sites and be on time for sessions, groups, and meetings.
• Maintain license and/or obtain Arizona State Certification within one year of hire.
• Maintain productivity metrics.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other required activities.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
