About The Position

This is a part time, day shift position. Typical work schedule is 8:00-4:30PM. Accountable for the direct and indirect care for infants and women both in the inpatient or outpatient clinic setting. Responsible to provide postpartum maternal and neonatal assessments. Develops feeding plans to address the nutritional needs of the infant that may include but is not limited to breastfeeding support, breast pumping support, and supplementation as appropriate. Provides lactation support and education to mothers as directed by referral or in the clinic setting after discharge.

Requirements

  • Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
  • 3 years of experience providing lactation care in a Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, or NICU department or in an outpatient mother baby clinical setting.
