About The Position

Responsible for all lactation related services, programs and education and services as a resource for lactation counseling and support to the community. Assists in the provision of care to patients of all age groups.

Requirements

  • BSN required
  • Must possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
  • Must possess IBCLC Certificate.
  • ILBC certification required.
  • Three to five years nursing experience, specifically in obstetrics and/or infant development required.
  • Work requires excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively with mothers and a variety of professional personnel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with NICU patients preferred.
  • Covers NICU and OB but will flex throughout house to provide lactation support as needed.

Responsibilities
