About The Position
The Lactation Consultant provides lactation management services to expectant and new parents. This is a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position involving collaboration with multidisciplinary team members to provide excellent patient care. The role is with Perinatal Education at Methodist Richardson Medical Center, a 443-bed, full-service acute care hospital serving Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas in Dallas and Collin counties.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse.
- Two years of experience in lactation consulting required.
Nice To Haves
- Current certification as a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is preferred.
