About The Position

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic and dependable After-School Lacrosse Instructors to lead fun, engaging lacrosse enrichment programs for elementary-aged students at schools throughout Baltimore City. This is a part-time, after-school position working Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, with 1.5-hour sessions. The role offers a flexible afternoon schedule, a consistent weekly schedule, and opportunities for advancement. Curriculum and equipment are provided, and no lesson planning is required. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about coaching, mentoring, and introducing children to lacrosse, aiming to make a positive impact in the community.

Requirements

Experience working with children is a plus
Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
Reliable transportation to schools throughout Baltimore City
Dependable and punctual
Must successfully complete the required Baltimore City Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process

Responsibilities

Lead engaging lacrosse sessions for elementary students
Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
Teach fundamental stick skills, passing, catching, shooting, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
Encourage participation, confidence, and skill development
Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
