About The Position

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic and dependable After-School Baseball Instructors to lead fun, engaging baseball enrichment programs for elementary-aged students at schools throughout Baltimore City. This is a part-time, after-school position where instructors will teach baseball fundamentals while building confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with children and baseball, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the community.

Requirements

• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Baltimore City
• Dependable and punctual
• Must successfully complete the required Baltimore City Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process

Nice To Haves

• Baseball playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required
• Experience working with children is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging baseball sessions for elementary students
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
• Teach throwing, catching, hitting, fielding, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
• Encourage participation, confidence, and skill development
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
