About The Position
A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle Metro Area is seeking a Per Diem Laborist (MD/DO) to join its Women's Health team. This is an excellent opportunity for an OB/GYN physician seeking flexible scheduling while practicing in a collaborative hospital-based environment with strong specialty support and modern labor and delivery resources. This opportunity offers the ability to focus on inpatient obstetrical care while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a supportive and patient-centered environment.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible for Washington State medical license
- Active or eligible DEA registration

- Current obstetrical privileges or recent labor and delivery experience preferred
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based women's healthcare
Responsibilities
- Provide hospital-based obstetrical care and laborist coverage
- Manage labor and delivery patients, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Evaluate and manage obstetric triage patients and emergency consultations
- Collaborate with community OB/GYN physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams
- Provide gynecologic emergency coverage as needed
- Support patient safety and quality initiatives within the Women's Health program
- Utilize EPIC EMR and integrated clinical workflows
