About The Position

The Laborer performs miscellaneous manual work in an office, on the grounds, or about the building, and related work as required. The position is assigned to East High School and is scheduled for 40 hours per week for 12 months per school year. Initial assignment hours are 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, including a half-hour unpaid lunch.

Requirements

• Ability to perform ground care duties, including mowing lawns, weeding, and snow shoveling.
• Ability to perform manual and unskilled maintenance repair work.
• Ability to perform unskilled repairs to mechanical equipment and heating systems.
• Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Ability to move furniture and load and unload trucks.
• Good physical condition, strength, and stamina.
