About The Position

We are looking for a Laborer to provide support by performing basic railcar repairs. You will repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches. You will assist with performing a variety of rail car repair related tasks and working in a TEAM environment, establishing good working relationships at all levels.

Requirements

Use of a variety of tools and equipment such as pneumatic and hydraulic tools, grinders, jacks, welders, cutting torches, forklifts, and cranes.
Read specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Ability to lift 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
Ability to work within a teamwork environment with regular and predictable attendance.
Able to pass drug screen, physical.
