About The Position

This position will assist in the general maintenance and construction projects scheduled for the season of May to October 2026 (approximately). This position will be required to support all duties of the maintenance staff including general building maintenance, construction, carpentry, mechanical and other duties.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
• Good physical condition and strength, with a willingness to work overtime hours.
• Must possess a valid Alaska driver's license, preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in various maintenance and shop functions and tasks.
• Performs a variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, including painting, vehicle maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, roofing, and other recognized crafts for maintaining and repairing the building or properties.
• Must be willing to travel to all Borough communities.
• Must be willing to be on-call as needed.
