About The Position

This position involves sorting, separating, and cleaning up scrap metal, operating bailing and shearing machines as needed, and weighing small scrap metal orders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work well with other employees.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Constant standing.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation, as provided in detail in the Job Analysis Database.

- Experience with different types of scrap metal.
Responsibilities
- Sort, separate, and clean up scrap metal in the yard.
- Run the bailing and shearing machines using metal and cardboard.
- Weigh small scrap orders for customers.
