About The Position

SAK Construction has immediate openings for Tap Cutters, TV Techs in the Birmingham, AL area. SAK is an industry leader in pipeline rehabilitation (CIPP) and tunnel construction. We provide the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented and accomplished professionals in the industry.

Requirements

• Pass required screenings including driver’s license check.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and enjoy getting paid while training and obtaining a CDL (commercial driver’s license).
• Have experience as a Tap Cutter or TV Tech in the CIPP industry
• Can work in confined spaces and lift 80 pounds
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have the ability work without much direction – (self-motivated)

Responsibilities

• Operate certain construction equipment and related vehicles.
• Reinstate service laterals after rehabilitation
• Work as a team toward the successful rehabilitation and repair of sewer and storm water pipes.

• $32 per hour and up with Tap Cutting experience and CDL!
