Entry Level Laborer/CCTV Assistant
About The Position
We are seeking a dependable Entry-Level Laborer / CCTV Assistant to join our sewer and pipeline inspection team. This position is ideal for individuals interested in learning the underground utility industry and developing skills in pipeline CCTV inspection, sewer maintenance, and utility construction. The Laborer / CCTV Assistant will support CCTV Operators during inspections of sanitary sewer and stormwater systems, assist with equipment setup and maintenance, and perform general labor duties in the field. No prior CCTV experience is required. Training will be provided.
Requirements
- No previous experience necessary.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments, including lifting heavy objects and working in muddy conditions.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence in job performance.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Stamina and endurance to work long hours in varying weather conditions.
- Agility and coordination to maneuver safely around construction sites and operate equipment.
Responsibilities
- Support CCTV Operators during inspections of sanitary sewer and stormwater systems.
- Assist with equipment setup and maintenance.
- Perform general labor duties in the field.
- Communicate effectively with the superintendent and other team members to coordinate tasks and prioritize work activities.
- Assist coworkers as needed to ensure timely completion of project objectives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by demonstrating teamwork and mutual respect.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices.
- Identify potential hazards and report any safety concerns to the superintendent or site supervisor.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance awareness and promote a culture of safety.
