About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of tasks to support the work site, including communication, safe operation of vehicles, running errands, and handling tools and equipment. The laborer must be able to work safely in various conditions, including traversing uneven terrain and climbing ladders. Responsibilities also include site maintenance, stocking supplies, and potentially performing hole watch and firewatch duties.

Requirements

Ability to communicate with others.
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to safely traverse uneven terrain with/without tools and building materials.
Proficiency in the safe, dexterous use of hand tools.
Understanding of the safe use of power and manual construction tools.
Ability to dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel to fine grade specifications using hand tools.
Ability to break up and remove concrete with power equipment (jackhammer) and hand tools.
Ability to position and operate portable and submersible water pumps.
Ability to clean and sort tools, equipment, and materials.
Ability to stock drinking water containers.
Ability to climb vertical ladders in up to 25-30 foot sections, above/below ground elevation.
Ability to clean and maintain the worksite and related areas.
Adherence to all safety procedures.
