About The Position
Performs assigned general labor and equipment operator responsibilities.
Requirements
- Basic math
- Forklift
- Pallet Jack
- Sledge Hammer
- Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and sit
- Must regularly lift and/or move SO - 75 lbs without assistance
Responsibilities
- Maintains supplies by receiving and stocking materials in designated areas
- Lift as well as carries materials and equipment throughout work areas using appropriate equipment
- Loads and unloads orders by hand or with the help of a forklift into customer and/or company vehicles and trucks, carefully and in accordance with safety best practices
- Communicates effectively with customers, contractors, and other sire personnel
- Assist in material selection and handling
- Always maintains a neat and orderly work area
- Ensures professional appearance of product in yard for sale or prior to shipping
- Reports and damaged goods to supervisor upon receipt of and prior to providing a signature for delivered goods
- Inspects all materials received for accuracy, checking for color, size, finish, quantity, quality, and damage
- Performs general housekeeping duties as instructed
