About The Position

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a dedicated and physically capable Laborer to support our solar farm construction projects. This non-driving role involves manual labor and assistance with various tasks essential for project completion.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction, general labor, or a similar physically demanding role is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
• Commitment to safety on the job site.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the unloading, sorting, and staging of materials and equipment on job sites.
• Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal, waste disposal, and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Support skilled tradespeople by carrying tools, materials, and following instructions.
• Dig trenches, post holes, and foundations by hand or with hand tools.
• Perform basic assembly of components under supervision.
• Operate small hand and power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., drills, grinders, shovels, rakes).
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or project managers.
