About The Position

The City of Thibodaux is accepting online applications for the full-time classified position of Laborer I. The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance functions throughout the city. This is accomplished by picking up trash; mowing and weed eating grass; cleaning drains and basins; maintaining the pump stations and civic center employees; and repairing city streets and property. Other duties include maintaining landscaping equipment; cleaning bathrooms, windows and floors; cutting trees; spraying for weeds; picking up after special events; and completing other tasks as assigned. The purpose of this position is to maintain the cleanliness, appearance and infrastructure of the City.
