About The Position

This role performs manual labor tasks to maintain the work yard for crushing operations. Responsibilities include watering the yard to minimize dust, assisting with heavy maintenance and equipment tasks, cleaning the work area and offices, and monitoring the site for safety issues. The position requires assisting co-workers to meet productivity goals and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Knowledge of or some experience in aggregates, preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Performs shoveling, lifting, pulling, carrying and other manual labor tasks to maintain work yard for crushing operations
• Waters yard throughout the workday to minimize dust levels at site
• Assists in heavy maintenance jobs and equipment maintenance tasks such as greasing and inspection to ensure equipment is in safe condition and good working order
• Assists and performs duties of co-workers as needed to accomplish productivity objectives
• Cleans and maintains orderly work area throughout the day, and monitors site to find and report safety issues
• Cleans job site offices
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
