About The Position

This is a seasonal position, allowing individuals to have their winters off for personal activities while maintaining year-round benefits. The role involves performing various laborer tasks and operating small equipment to support daily production and transport equipment between sites. This includes setting up and tearing down mobile equipment for transportation. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with one Saturday per month, though this may vary due to weather or customer demand.

Requirements

General education, grammar, and arithmetic (GED or high school diploma or equivalent).
Equipment maintenance and operation.
Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card, and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

CDL license preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely perform labor tasks including lifting, moving, pushing, and/or pulling objects of various sizes and weight.
Level earth using a pick or shovel.
Shovel excess material away from crushers, screen, or wash plant units.
Fill sandbags.
May operate small, powered hand tools.
Safely and properly perform maintenance (lubricating, fueling, and cleaning) and operate small equipment such as skid steers, tractors, jackhammers, air compressors, and various other small equipment.
Drive a pickup truck, hook and unhook trailers to pickup trucks.
Drive a truck/skid steer trailer combination to transport skid steers and other equipment and materials from site to site.
Potential to act as a Laborer in other product lines with similar tasks and physical demands.
Ensure adherence to MSHA/OSHA, safety, and environmental regulation compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
