About The Position

This is a temporary to full-time position in Champaign County. The role involves assisting with sorting, organizing, and processing recycled metal materials, identifying and handling various car parts and components, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the yard and warehouse areas. Training will be provided for operating basic equipment and tools. The position also supports inventory tracking and material movement, requires effective communication with team members and supervisors, and includes cleaning the warehouse and yard as assigned. Dismantling cars is also a responsibility.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with cars, auto parts, or in a recycling environment.
• Forklift experience.
