About The Position

This position is with Great Kitchens, Inc., part of the Rich Products family of companies. The purpose of this role is to perform the assigned job as indicated by his/her supervisor in accordance with the Safety, QA and USDA rules. The role is responsible for the production of a quality product that meets all customer and regulatory requirements. The individual will effectively communicate as required with supervisor, follow specific directions, and fully understand the training on safety, QA and USDA rules. They will maintain the work area clean and safe at all times, assist other employees and Supervisor when requested, and perform with the best effort as indicated by the production line’s pace. Adherence to all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), such as good hand washing practices and adhering to the employee hygiene plan, is required. The role also involves following all USDA guidelines, reporting any issues regarding food safety or quality to supervision and/or quality assurance, and complying with customer requirements when applicable. The position is responsible for upholding, following and maintaining the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing. Other duties as may be assigned or volunteered for.

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing and math skills.
  • High School diploma/Equivalent
  • Hard working, dependable, safety conscious and team oriented.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work standing or walking for long periods of time.
  • Work bending and squatting.
  • Work making fast and repetitive hand motions.
  • Work in cold refrigerated and frozen conditions.
  • Able to push/pull heavy loads using hand jack.

Responsibilities
