About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Laborer with a valid Forklift Certification. The role involves supporting construction site activities, operating forklifts and other heavy machinery, handling materials, and helping maintain a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate has a construction background and works reliably and effectively with team members.

Requirements

Valid Forklift Certification and proven experience operating forklifts and other construction machinery.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field.
Strong understanding of construction processes and safety procedures.
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience with additional construction equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, or loaders.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans.
Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Assist with site preparation, material handling, and general labor duties on construction sites.
Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently to move materials and equipment around the job site.
Load and unload construction materials and supplies, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Provide tradespeople and other construction workers with tools, materials, and assistance.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to help ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
Assist with assembling and disassembling scaffolding, temporary structures, and other construction setups.
Communicate with supervisors, project managers, and team members to coordinate tasks and address issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
