About The Position

Seaboard Drilling, LLC is seeking a Laborer/Drilling Assistant for an immediate opening at their Somersworth, New Hampshire office. This full-time position involves supporting the operation of a test boring rig under the guidance of an experienced Driller. Responsibilities include assisting with soil boring and sampling, rock coring, measuring water levels, installing monitoring wells and instrumentation, handling tools and supplies, and operating/maintaining heavy equipment such as drill rigs, trucks, trailers, and ATVs. The role requires physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds, work outdoors in various conditions, and travel to work sites throughout New England, with occasional overnight stays and night work. A CDL-A license is preferred, or a willingness to obtain one.

Requirements

• Full time position, primarily M-F work
• Familiarity working with and around heavy equipment and operations
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy tooling and supplies up to 100 pounds
• Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons, temperatures, and conditions
• Position will require regular travel to short-term work sites throughout New England, with overnight stays on some weekdays
• Occasional night work

Nice To Haves

• CDL-A/Class A license preferred, or willingness to obtain
• High school diploma preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely assist the driller with all aspects of drill rig operation and maintenance
• Perform soil boring and sampling
