About The Position
The Village of Ridgewood’s Department of Public Works, Division of Water Pollution Control, is hiring a Laborer 1 at its Water Pollution Control Division facility at 561 Prospect Street, Glen Rock, New Jersey. The position is in the Blue-Collar Bargaining Unit under the current collective bargaining agreement and has a starting salary of $57,076.00. The plant operates 24/7, and the role involves rotating shifts: 7:00 am–3:00 pm, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, and 11:00 pm–7:00 am, seven days a week. A valid driver’s license is required; having or obtaining a CDL Class B is encouraged. Knowledge of pumps, computer control systems, and wastewater treatment is a plus.
