Senior Technologist Laboratory - Central Labs | Full-Time, Days Westchester Campus
About The Position
Laboratory Technologists at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital conduct routine and complex tests on clinical specimens in several laboratory areas, including blood bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and microbiology. They perform and document quality control procedures as required by policy and follow up on out-of-range results. This is a full-time day-shift position at NYP Westchester in Bronxville, located across from the Metro North Station. The schedule is 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and includes rotating weekends and holidays. The role requires on-site presence, and employees should live within commuting distance; NYP does not reimburse travel expenses. A competitive sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered, with new graduates eligible and experiential bonuses commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or another health-science-related field.
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license from the New York State Education Department.
Nice To Haves
- ASCP certification.
- Two to three years of experience.
