Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Central Lab | Full-Time, Evenings (Westchester Campus)
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is hiring a full-time Laboratory Technologist for its Central Labs at NYP Westchester in Bronxville, New York. The position covers evening shifts and includes rotating weekends and holidays. The campus is across from the Metro North Station, and employees are expected to live within commuting distance. NYP does not reimburse travel expenses. The technologist conducts routine and complex testing on clinical specimens in laboratory areas including blood bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and microbiology. The role also performs and documents quality control procedures according to policy and follows up on out-of-range results. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered. New graduates are eligible, and experiential bonuses are commensurate with experience. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or another health science-related field.
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license from the New York State Education Department.
Nice To Haves
- ASCP certification.
- Two to three years of experience.
Responsibilities
