The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Laboratory Technologist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Supporting automated production equipment at customer sites Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing and laboratory equipment Performing preventive maintenance and supporting equipment upgrades Assisting with installation, startup, testing, and service activities Troubleshooting controls-related issues, including PLC-based systems Documentation of service and maintenance activities Partnering with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues Supporting safe, reliable, and efficient equipment operation Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree, vocational training, or trade certification in a science or technical discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution -OR- High School Diploma/ GED (completed and verified prior to start) and five (5) years of technical experience with manufacturing in one or more of the following areas: Electrical, maintenance, repair or laboratory equipment troubleshooting within a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

  • General industrial maintenance knowledge
  • Exposure to manufacturing equipment controls and PLCs
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to travel to external customer sites as needed
  • Ability to work independently in both field and laboratory environments
  • Experience with automated production equipment
  • Mechanical background, including CNC or manual machining
  • Experience with sensors, pneumatics, motors, and related equipment
  • Prior field service or customer-facing technical support experience

Responsibilities
