About The Position

A Day in the life of a Laboratory Technologist at Pinchin involves receiving and logging samples on LIMS, preparing and sending out sampling materials to customers, maintaining daily records of equipment, operating an autoclave for sterilization of microbiology materials, and ensuring general cleanliness of the laboratory environment and equipment. The role also includes maintaining and calibrating equipment, reporting deficiencies or malfunctions to the Laboratory Manager, assisting analysts working in BSCs, and preparing and maintaining stocks of reagents, stains, and agar. Requirements

Pursuing college diploma or university degree in a related discipline
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, Access & Outlook)
Detail-oriented, able to develop and maintain a highly organized work environment and to effectively prioritize tasks
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
