About The Position

Perform laboratory tests following prescribed procedures across specialties. Calculate and accurately record test results. Operate, calibrate, maintain, and perform checks on laboratory equipment. Troubleshoot basic analyzer malfunctions and notify management when needed. Prepare reagents and media per established procedures. Evaluate reagents, media, and calibrators using defined criteria. Conduct quality control (QC) on tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products. Review QC results and implement corrective actions when required. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with quality systems. Support company values, ethics, and leadership principles. Ensure adherence to quality management system expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical science, Physical science, Biological/clinical laboratory science, or Medical technology from an accredited institution
  • Must meet state-specific requirements where required: California: Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CDPH), Georgia: Certification via ASCP, AMT, NCA, or AAB
  • No prior transplant testing experience required
  • Knowledge of medical technology principles, methods, and techniques
  • Knowledge of chemistry, biology, and bacteriology fundamentals
  • Knowledge of recent developments in medical technology
  • Ability to perform tasks according to procedures
  • Ability to make accurate observations and maintain records
  • Skilled in using laboratory equipment
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Must follow all safety and exposure procedures
  • Required to use provided personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Must handle hazardous materials safely
  • Refer to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemical hazards
