About The Position

The Laboratory Technician will perform measurements and laboratory tests for purchased parts, semi-finished parts, and finished parts according to the control plan and PPAP parts. This role will also support R&D, product audits, and problem investigations. Key responsibilities include managing the calibration system for production and quality measuring and testing devices, measuring components according to customer specifications and relevant standards, and supporting the proper use of SPC in production. The technician will also support MSA if required and report non-conforming products immediately. Additionally, the role involves advising on proper measurement methods, equipment, and identification of characteristics on drawings. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years professional experience
• Ability to interpret drawings and requirements for ensuring the adherence to agreed Quality parameters
• Expertise in performing tests referring to the laboratory scope
• Expertise in the calibration of test equipment
• Knowledge in statistical methods
