About The Position

Primarily responsible for ensuring product and color quality through all stages of production by working closely with the receiving, manufacturing and shipping departments to detect and eliminate potential problems that would adversely affect product quality.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Platform (word-processing, spreadsheets, graphics and statistical programs).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer requirements for product and color quality are met.
  • Assist manufacturing in performing testing per the product control plan.
  • Assist in the maintenance and verification/calibration of all equipment in the department.
  • Review Raw Material and Final Test Results and determine if additional testing is required.
  • Report Test Results for in-process testing in the PRIMOS computer database immediately upon completion.
  • Review applicable procedures, work instructions and test methods to comply with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
  • Check for potential sources of contamination around the machines and perform general good housekeeping practices throughout the work area.
  • Provide technical support to production at all times.
  • Lead and/or participate in problem-solving sessions pertaining to internal operations, safety, and external customer complaints.
  • Monitor manufacturing to ensure product quality.
  • Maintain general housekeeping of the Laboratory and verify operation of the laboratory equipment.
  • When trained, perform as a back-up to Quality Manager, Shift Supervisor, or Shipping.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as directed by supervisor.
