About The Position

The successful candidate will provide essential support to engineering activities. Responsibilities include the installation and relocation of equipment, setting up various types of cabling such as coax, Ethernet, and fiber optics, maintaining and supporting lab equipment, and performing any other tasks necessary to ensure the smooth operation of engineering lab. This is a new position.

Requirements

Proficiency in working with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Ability to follow instructions and utilize published documentation.
Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Exhibits strong customer service skills and effective time management.
Capable of collaborating and maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
Shows willingness to learn and flexibility in handling daily job assignments.
Bachelor's degree.
Associate's degree and 1+ year of technical or related work experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of technical or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, including DNS and DHCP protocols.
Advanced proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
Formal electronics education, obtained through military or trade school training.

Responsibilities

Carry out daily tasks as assigned by management to support the engineering team.
Perform upgrades to software and hardware as required.
Install coax, Ethernet, and fiber optics cabling.
Build equipment racks and install devices, following rack elevation and wiring diagrams.
Work according to priorities set by management and project leads.
Assist with lab moves, as well as cleaning and organizational activities.
