About The Position

This position involves performing extractions using various EPA methods and washing glassware for the organic prep department. The role requires preparing samples for analysis in accordance with ALS standard operating procedures, safely and properly washing scientific glassware, recognizing and maintaining safe working conditions, using appropriate safety equipment, and maintaining a clean, orderly work environment. Other duties as assigned may be part of the role, and the ability to work off-shift is also a requirement.

• Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with co-workers and managers.
• Dexterity in hands and fingers to handle glassware.
• Must have average vision and able to see to read labels.
• To be eligible to work at ALS you must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of the country you are applying for, or either hold or be able to obtain, a valid working visa.
