We’re searching for a motivated Laboratory Analyst to support our environmental laboratory team in Kilgore, TX. In this role, you’ll be actively engaged in daily laboratory operations, supporting critical testing through sample preparation, analytical testing, and accurate documentation within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). You’ll work hands-on with laboratory instrumentation, contribute to quality and compliance initiatives, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organized laboratory environment. This position offers the opportunity to strengthen technical expertise, collaborate with an experienced team, and directly contribute to reliable, high-quality results that support essential laboratory operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or related scientific discipline; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated hands-on analytical laboratory experience, preferably within an environmental testing laboratory
  • Familiarity with analytical instrumentation strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with LIMS systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform sample preparation, extraction, and organic analytical testing on environmental samples following EPA methods, laboratory SOPs, and quality standards
  • Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical instrumentation and equipment
  • Prepare calibration standards, reagents, quality control samples, and laboratory solutions
  • Review analytical data and quality control results to ensure accuracy, precision, and regulatory compliance
  • Enter, verify, and maintain laboratory data within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Support compliance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adhere to laboratory safety procedures, chemical hygiene practices, and environmental regulations
  • Support laboratory operations through inventory management, housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and cross-training activities
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to meet turnaround times and client expectations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
