Lab, Laboratory Technician (Inventory)
About The Position
Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing and is looking to hire a full-time Laboratory Technician (Inventory) working from their Pittsburgh, PA laboratory location. This role supports the inventory department's success through daily checks for ordering requests, equipment, and temperature monitoring. Tasks are varied and involve collaboration and coordination with several departments onsite, both inside and outside the laboratory. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in organization, data entry, LIMS, time management, problem-solving, communication, and Excel. This role will primarily focus on creating and tracking purchase orders, reviewing and adjusting par levels, and communicating with vendors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or enrolled in college classes with excellent GPA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and EXCEL
- Proven flexibility and dependable performance
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- MLT (AA) recommended, not required
- Experience in a laboratory setting preferred
Responsibilities
