About The Position

The Lab Technician/Certifying Scientist (LT/CS) will ensure that all laboratory procedures are conducted in compliance with COLA/CLIA regulations. The LT/CS will follow and maintain knowledge of all laboratory procedures and fulfill other tasks as requested. Maintain excellent communication with all personnel.

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of at least 1-year previous experience as a Certifying Scientist required
• Requires experience in high complexity testing including sample preparation, screening, and confirmation testing.
• Knowledge of drug and their metabolism required
• Knowledge of Sciex 4500 LC/MS/MS instrumentation and Multiquant software - Required

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot Sciex 4500 LC/MS/MS instrumentation.
• Perform data review
• Understand and interpret drug metabolism
• Accurately report patient results to physicians
• Maintain lab established turnaround time.
• Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and quality requirement
• Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedure.
• Sample preparation for testing
• Good attendance is expected of all employees as a normal condition of work
• Perform other tasks as requested
