Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience or similar through experience.
- Prior experience in both tissue processing/sectioning and (immuno) histochemical staining required.
- Professional and positive attitude, take initiative and act accountable.
- Thorough process knowledge.
- Facilitate process improvement and implementation.
- Communicative.
Responsibilities
- Perform activities as ordered by departmental supervisors.
- Tissue processing, sectioning, (immuno)histochemical staining, in situ hybridization.
- Ensures the sample material is correctly handled.
- Stores samples/subsamples in the correct storage location.
- Operates equipment correctly to obtain the correct analysis.
- Works meticulously and pays attention to detail.
- Gives input of reagent stock status and functioning of equipment to the lab supervisor/manager.
- Reports results, errors and observations as required.
- Uses the LIMS, DMS and QMS systems as and when appropriate.
- Ensures the working environment is clean and organized at all times.
