About The Position
Sileto Technologies LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician I to join our growing team in Hialeah, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technical work in a dynamic and collaborative lab environment. If you're passionate about science and precision, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a reliable Laboratory Technician to join our small polymer concrete manufacturing team. You will support day-to-day production, test concrete specimens, keep inventory and assist with process improvements. Training on our specific materials and methods will be provided.
Requirements
- Comfortable and competent with power tools and hand tools
- Ability to measure precisely and work accurately
- Basic understanding of chemistry
- Strong teamwork skills
- Good record-keeping habits
- Ability to lift more than 50 lbs regularly
- Safety-oriented mindset
- Proactive and willing to learn and grow within the company
Nice To Haves
- Masonry, carpentry, or mechanic background
- Bilingual Preferred (Spanish & English) but not required.
Responsibilities
- Help with the production of concrete samples for research purposes
- Help build custom molds
- Maintain the workplace in orderly and clean conditions
- Maintain inventory of materials and consumables
- Communicate effectively any issues with concrete samples to help improve the products
- Support general production and shop activities
