About The Position

Laboratory Technician I is responsible for the creation of finished goods in the Normal Human and Animal processing laboratory. These activities include the processing of raw materials using basic laboratory functions, detailed record keeping and compliance with standard laboratory practices. We encourage candidates who are passionate about working in a laboratory setting to apply. This position will ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, State Departments of Health, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), EMEA and FDA Guidelines, general State and Country Regulations such as but not limited to (CLIA, CAP, USP, ISO 9001, USDA regulations, HTA license, DEA and State Controlled Substance programs) where site appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • BS degree or having at least 1-year clinical/research lab experience are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Processing of human and animal biological samples to finished goods, by filtering, aliquoting, and labeling raw material in accordance with our SOPs.
  • Create detailed records of all processes, data, and results in specified forms. Processes must be completed per work instructions.
  • Coordinate with documentation, inventory, and shipping teams to ensure finished goods are created, processed and shipped with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly processing environment, practice safe work habits, ensure that all safety guidelines are strictly followed while complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.
  • Assist with general upkeep of laboratory, including maintenance of equipment and inventory of consumable supplies.
