About The Position
Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Tech II to join the Laboratory Department! The selected applicants will perform various waived, moderately and highly complex hematologic, chemical, immunohematologic, immunologic/serologic, microscopic, and microbiological tests on specimens to obtain data for use in diagnosis or treatment of diseases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in MLS and 1 year of experience or an Associate's degree in MLT and 2 years of experience required.
- Knowledge of lab equipment, quality control methods, and report management required
Nice To Haves
- National certification as an MT/MLS/MLT by an approved agency (ASCP or AMT) preferred
- Two years Lab Tech I or II experience preferred
